Lancaster University

In conjunction with our dealer, Frem Group were required to completely refurbish the John Welch Room at Lancaster University. The client had asked that the space look characteristic and timeless, yet have clean lines for a modern finish.

Frem Group’s creative in-house design team designed
a custom made offering, all finished in American Black Walnut laminate to fulfil the clients brief.

A purpose made 5500mm long barrel shaped boardroom table with a box base with doors to access the electrics was designed and built. Custom made wall panelling, with 40mm thick acoustic wall panels upholstered in Camira Cara Merrick fabric, was applied to one of the sections of the wall. A purpose built AV wall was installed on the central wall reservation within the room setting. Furthermore, a bespoke refreshment unit with a Silestone quartz top, grey laminate doors and American Black Walnut back panels was designed and installed.

Frem Group was pleased to complete the project ahead of schedule, with zero snagging.
